OGE Offers Grants For Teachers

OGE Energy Corp. is offering $1,000 grants to teachers in its service
area to fund creative projects focusing on math, science and reading.
"We value the schools in the communities where we live and work," said
Randy Lewis, the company's supervisor of community affairs. "We are
pleased to provide funding for innovative programs that otherwise might
not happen." The OGE Energy Corp. Teacher Grant program, in its ninth
year, is open to teachers of kindergarten through 12th grade in
communities in Oklahoma and Arkansas that are served by OGE subsidiaries
Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. and Enogex. Proposals are due June 3. More
