They're Back! Lockheed Martin Returns as Host Sponsor of 2nd Festival

Building upon the expertise and enthusiasm Lockheed Martin (LMCO) brought as Host
Sponsor of last year's Inaugural USA Science & Engineering Festival, the Bethesda,
MD based company is returning for a command performance! LMCO has been officially
named Host Sponsor for the 2nd Festival, a role in which it will more than triple
its commitment. LMCO will head an impressive contingent of other Festival sponsors
who will be participating from corporations, government, foundations and individual
donors.

"Lockheed Martin is proud to partner, once again, with Larry Bock on the 2012 Festival.
The inaugural USA Science & Engineering Festival exceeded our expectations," stated
Dr. Ray O Johnson, Lockheed Martin Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.
He adds, "It was clear from the enthusiastic participation of the tens of thousands
of students who crowded the National Mall that these same students will someday
provide innovative solutions to our most difficult challenges."

Changes to 2012 Expo: Event Expands to 3 Days and Will be Held in Spring -

Get Involved Now!

Although dates and specific venues in Washington, DC are still being finalized,
the Expo will be held in the spring (instead of the fall like last year) to increase
school participation and to encourage attendance by tourists visiting the area.
The Expo will also expand from 2 to 3 days to include a "Sneak Peek Friday," allowing
students from under-served schools and U.S. Government representatives from the
House, Senate, White House and government agencies to visit the event in advance.
In addition, the entire Expo will be held in one contiguous venue in Washington
to further enhance logistics and accessibility to all activities.
Are you interested in becoming an Expo exhibitor or performer for 2012? If so, visit our website and fill out a form!
DON'T DELAY! Our exhibitor spaces "closed out" 6 months in advance last year, so
we don't want you to miss out.

science and engineering taking place in other countries, it also communicates a
growing fact: the world is truly a close-knit community that depends on, and contributes
to, technological innovation.

The Festival is currently seeking input from foreign embassies around the world
with cutting-edge scientific developments taking place in their respective countries
- advancements that might make stimulating exhibits for the Expo.
